Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
The arete immediately right of Zorro.
Start sitting next to the tree with a left hand undercling and right hand pinch. Move right hand up to a "pistol grip" hold, then strike out left to a horizontal crack. Bump to the shelf and then finish straight up.
The stand start is V3/4.
A finishing variation is possible - after obtaining the shelf, move left to finish with the big lunge on Zorro.
