Amazing slabbing on the Shivers boulder and one of the best v4s in the canyon.

Start in the middle of the shivers boulder opposite the river. Fresh rubber is a plus!

obvious tall slab to the left of the riverside arete. Stay right of the mossy patch

pads and spot

Finally pulled the crux on this problem the other day. Trust your feet, have a good spot, and pull yourself through the direct finish.

The left exit on the rail is fun and makes the problem run at V2-3ish but the direct finish is so worth it once it goes. Oct 25, 2016

Am I correct in that touching anything on that left hand arete at the top is a disqualifier? It's so in your face right when you're desperate for a good handhold. Jun 9, 2014
your guide sounds like anything but one?

your new arrow is correct and mike's slab needs no cleaning, it perfectly skirts the moss. great movement w/ a committing finish, considerably easier than feck. give it a try, its good, you'll cruise it. Mar 31, 2013

I've always known this as feck but was unsure of where mikes slab was. The climb described is feck. Starts in between the two trees to the right in the photo. I'll have to go back and try mikes slab. Does it need need to be cleaned(you mentioned it climbs the moss patch)? My guide doesn't have feck in it which is odd.

I added a photo with the start. Mar 30, 2013
the bb has always listed this as feck. mike's slab is to the left and climbs the moss patch; it starts on the two crimps btw the trees and follows the blunt, rippled features to the top. Mar 30, 2013
