Taller people who can make the reach tend to prefer starting on a deep incut crimp just above the bulb. It's a more positive hold, but increases the reach by about an inch or two. Spotter is best used to help direct you to the feet around the corner once you get to the second hold. Sep 21, 2015

Thin folding pads on the rocks just behind this problem are useful. Really fun problem if V6 is near your limit. Jun 10, 2018
