RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

Description

Come one come all the queens of the desert have christened a new problem on the Army of Darkness Boulder. This formidable enemy of the empire starts the same as the Return of the Jedi and traverses the rail on devious slopers requiring more than a little finesse. Line up for the last long move of Return and use the new found crimper to execute the last sequence. If in doubt, ask one of the ladies for the beta and let justice be done...

Just to elaborate--this is a new variation of Jedi--but using a flat crimp that never existed before last year, right of the old "big move" left finger slot. Jedi can still be done in its original state but it is now an eliminate--Amadala is now the logical and obvious way, and significantly easier than Jedi. Though the line climbs more consistently w the new edge hold, it's quite sad, because though it may have been inadvertently chipped, it was definitely and intentionally heavily enhanced. There is now a tick-stripe (a la Morrison) delineating the "end" of the holds that comprise Jedi. Any crimps to the right are for Amadala and get the lower grade. Feb 16, 2014
