This is a good easy route that would work well for someone's first lead. The climbing is fairly continuous (for a 30 foot route) at 5.7 without a distinct crux. The rock is actually quite solid despite its chossy appearance.

New route between Safety Goggles and Overlooked.

3 bolts to double chain anchor.

There is curantly only one hanger at the top for chains. The second one is no longer there. Only a bolt sticking out the wall. Apr 3, 2015
It appears this bolt is not missing a hanger but actually broke. More info can be found in the Ogden Climbing Community Facebook group . Until further notice, I'd treat the hardware at 29th Street as suspect. May 1, 2015

I replaced both chains today so the route is good to go. The comment above about a broken bolt is incorrect. A bolt did break somewhere (I've seen the photos), but it wasn't on this route or any of the other routes on the main 29th street crag wall. All bolts are solid and ready to whip on at the main 29th street crag. May 5, 2015

Just climbed this route a few days ago. Chains and bolts seemed relatively new and in good condition.
This route looks like it has a bunch of jugs; it doesn't. But it does have good crimpy hands that'll rub your fingertips raw if you climb it a few times in a row. Fun climb. Jun 3, 2015
