Access Issue: Much of this area is part of the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness so expect longer approaches and no power bolting Details

Description

These falls lie to the right of the main flow of Willow Lake Falls. The climb is two good pitches.

Pitch 1: Approximately 3 medium screws gets you to a reasonably flat stance for a belay. The second pitch is steeper. Top out above the falls and walk off.

Location

This is the icefall to the right of the main flow.

Approach

Hike across the lake to get to the falls. If you do not wish to do that, itÂ’s a little further, but you can detour around the lake.

Protection

Screws for the route and anchors.
