Start with hands on the low thin seam right of the vertical crack. Traverse right along the seam to the good ledge. At the good ledge finish right on good holds. (Same top out as Whales Mouth)
The Whale Boulder (Riverside Drive/Buttermilk trail) - From 42nd street parking lot, head left (west) on the trail following Riverside Drive (not over the foot bridge). The boulder will be just past the 2nd stream crossing on the left between the trail and Riverside Drive. It is right next to the trail with just enough room for a few pads that arent in the way of the hikers and bikers.
