Start with hands on the low thin seam right of the vertical crack. Traverse right along the seam to the good ledge. Go straight up the bulging prow using tough sloping dishes and finish the difficult mantle. (Same top out as Short Nothings)
The Whale Boulder (Riverside Drive/Buttermilk trail) - From 42nd street parking lot, head left (west) on the trail following Riverside Drive (not over the foot bridge). The boulder will be just past the 2nd stream crossing on the left between the trail and Riverside Drive. It is right next to the trail with just enough room for a few pads that arent in the way of the hikers and bikers.
At least 2 pads and a good spotter. More pads are encouraged.
