Climbing at The Pond, Atlantis and Mine Area are private property, and now requires that you register in order to gain legal access. This is an easy process. You can do this at: queencreekclimbing.com/.
This is a one-time and free process so once you are registered you are good to go.
You can read more about this process and the announcement at the Queen Creek Coalition website – theqcc.com or the Queen Creek Coalition’s Facebook page – facebook.com/Queen-Creek-Co…

Not sure which legal entity did so (ADOT?), but this wall, being smack on highway 60, was ruled off limits to climbing a number of years back.
Description
Start on the right side of the second arete to the right of Legal Dihedral. Either climb straight up past the first bolt that leads out left to the arete along a seam (harder) or traverse in left from the gully (easier). Go up the steep brown, pocketed face to join the arate route route at its fifth (missing at time of FA) bolt.
