Access Issue: PLACING BOLTS IS ILLEGAL IN THE SUPERSTITION WILDERNESS! Details

Description

Start about 150 feet left of Kublai Khan behind a huge block. Climb up behind the block, then up a small pillar to a ledge. Move left and up the face (crux) to a notch on the left.

Mel Thompson was the governor of New Hampshire from 1970-78. Among other things, he wanted to arm the NH National Guard with nuclear weapons!

Location

Start about 150 feet left of Kublai Khan behind a huge block.

Protection

Not much pro. Walk off left (toward Fremont Saddle) or rappel from the top of another route.
