Description

Scramble up the dirty, left slanting, right facing chimney to a ledge, belay here to avoid rope drag, then cruise up the corner above to a big ledge out left.

Location

The large chimney to the right of Turbocharge.

Protection

Lots of gear, but kind of shitty rock

For what it's worth, there was a party on this when we were on Pegasus, and they found quite a bit of loose rock, and had a hard time not dropping some. Definitely worth exercising caution, not sure how easy it might be to avoid bad rock. I referred to it as "Diagonal Choss-stone Chimney" afterwards. Still, it doesn't look too bad Mar 5, 2017

The lower chimney is often used as an alternative to P1 of Pegasus, and is quite fun. The upper corner has been pruned and is pleasant. It's definitely better than it looks. It's also an excellent winter route with great protection. Jul 22, 2015

Would make a fun mixed climb, I'd imagine! Feb 22, 2013
