Description

This has fun moves at the beginning. Sit start with a left hand jug and a right hand crimp. Find some little feet beneath you, and throw up the left to a high pinch/crimp. Next bump up to a good slot to match in. The big ledge to the right of the starting holds is off for feet. Move out right on some dirtier terrain to top out at the top of the boulder. It is a little dirty at the top but isn't an issue. This will clean up with more climbs.

Location

Find this as you walk up the trail and arrive to the boulder with Squirming Coil and Contrivance. Step up on the short slab to your left, and the boulder is about 20 feet in front of you. Walk up and drop down to the start. It is north-facing.

Protection

A pad or two.

Rattlesnakes

Beware, rattlesnakes have been known to frequent this area!

Ran into a rattlesnake at the landing zone just below this problem in the brush. Climbers beware. Regretted wearing sandals instantly. Sep 14, 2015

Andrew,
I did this a while back (2011-2012). You didn't see any chalk? I also did some minor cleaning. I didn't think it was "good enough" climbing at the time to post it. I guess the "off" foot rail and the junk up top made it forgettable. I am glad that someone else saw the line, and I am not the only fool who messes around on any cool looking thing they see, only to have some minor issue detract from a great problem. This one just missed it! Anyways, happy trails, and keep looking up! Aug 12, 2013
