Does anyone know specifically where this starts? So far people I've seen people start from a very low undercling that I'm pretty sure has broken off, and also straight from the same underclings that Leap Frog starts on. Does it really even matter? Dec 13, 2017

In the facebook video, Matt starts to the left of the big holds on the edge of the waffle rock, likely on the undercling you referenced. I'm not aware of anything breaking so. As for whether it matters: If you are choosing to do this problem, which is a huge, huge eliminate, then you should be prepared to follow the established rules. Even though it is an eliminate, the movement is pretty fun. If you just want to climb, then use all the holds and call it good... Dec 14, 2017

Thanks, Joe. I was just a little confused seeing as the start for Keep It Hid is the same start as for Under the Grid, and in the video of Matt sending Keep It Hid he starts on the same underclings as for Leap Frog, that was why I was asking if it mattered. I'm totally not opposed to eliminates, I just want to make sure I start in the right place. Dec 14, 2017

The original start hold for both of these climbs (Under The Grid and Keep It Hid) broke off a little while back. I haven't checked it out recently but it still goes and starts roughly where it used to, albeit on a new hold. The general consensus is to start as far left as you can before it feels weird/too crunched. The crux is not the first move anyway. Dec 17, 2017
