Protection

18 bolts to chains.

Route from the ground. Lower part of the route is inside the chimney (bolted!), and the upper part is on the face/arete.

[Hide Comment] The stem/squeeze/offwidth mash-up at the bottom is very entertaining. The arete and crack on the upper part is rad but in need of a brush to clear away some of the lichen. Oh and did I mention well protected... yea, lots of bolts. Apr 14, 2014

[Hide Comment] On 2017 Sep 30th there were no chains at the top, just bolt hangers! So, I belayed my follower up and then we walked off to climbers right down a dirty 3rd/4th class gully at the end of the wall. Looked like it would also be easy to scramble right and down to some chains on a different route to climbers right and rap. Really enjoyed the bolted chimney, which is very rare in my experience.
