Description

The crux is getting to the second bolt, which is the coolest move. The route is a little awkward at the start. Once you get to the top, it is a spectacluar view. The rope will drag on the rock when you repell down, but you can choose to walk around. The belay spot is on a hill, but not too bad.

Protection

3 bolt to anchors

Location

The very end of the south creek routes. You will walk between two boulders and the route is on the left. Look for the tree that is growing into the rock on the right hand side and the start is right there.

Walk off the top, not worth the wear and tear on your rope to rap off Jan 27, 2013

Great view from the top, definitely will want to top out, but I agree about walking off the top and not rappelling. The guidebook says "3 bolts, no anchors," which is partially true. After the third bolt, which has a screw link on the hanger, there are two rusted out bolts with a single chain between them. The chain does not allow for rope to be fed through the links - it's possible, but your rope may pay for it. I recommend walking off, not rappelling from the top. Sep 7, 2013

This is the very last bolted line you will encounter along the south clear cliff line. It is not worth the walk. I did not read the comments before making this climb, and the thought occurred to us to walk off but still wouldn't make it worth it. Sep 28, 2015
