Description

This unpleasant route should never have been bolted. Grain your way up the face/arete left of Ren cursing as your footholds fall away to the ground and into your belayer's eyes...it may clean up sometime in the next century. Deserving of negative stars if that's possible.

Location

Just left of Ren.

Protection

4 bolts (3/8"), gear to 3" for the anchor

This route seemed harder than 5.10a.....more like 5.10b;....and the rock is somewhat grainy and there is some distance between the bolts. With traffic and maybe a bit of brushing, the route would be fine;...but still heads up. There is a bolted anchor on top of this climb, which also can be shared with the climb Ren, which is a cool climb....until the top when Ren gets all grainy too! Feb 29, 2016

Chris' route description gave me a good laugh. Thanks, Chris. I won't be wasting my time on that one. Apr 25, 2013
