Access Issue: Rim Rock Trail Closure Details

Description

This is a decent little line 2 routes left of Interface. It ascends a lieback to a short, right-facing dihedral. It is often chalked up.

Location

This is 2 routes left of Interface and just right of a chimney with 2 chockstones.

Protection

A light rack to a #1 Camalot. There is a 2 bolt Fixe anchor with rings that is shared with the route to the right.

I think the crux on this is right at the bottom as you begin to climb. There is good pro here which can be placed above your head before you start to climb. Jan 23, 2013

I second the above comment. I headpointed this but didn't need to because the few harder moves were getting off the ground. Fun lieback 5.7 moves then 5.5 or less to the anchors. Jan 12, 2014

A great route for about three moves. Definitely worth doing. Jan 14, 2017
