RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Description

Sit start on big chalked sideways undercling type hold. Work out on the left side of the cave on a series of crimps and top out on jugs.

Location

Starts in the back of the obvious cave feature of this boulder.

Protection

A few pads in the cave would be nice.

Photos

Matt Kirk got the FA on this line back in 1996. Witnesses are Jason Jackson, Mike Vaughn as we were all from Phoenix we were taken to the boulder by Dwight White a Vegas local who was a manager at Rocks & ropes at the time. Also spring loaded and Monkey wrench. Jan 22, 2015
