Powerful and committing for the grade, Tang follows a series of long moves between good crimps up the middle of the steep wall. Get ready for the cruxy topout.
A great climb that I felt was marred only by the fact that the crimps were kind of sharp. Even so, I thought this was a great v5.

Left side of the Tang boulder, maybe 2 meters right of the v7 arete problem. Start sitting with a nice rail/crimp thing.

At least 2 pads and a spotter would help make this much safer. It did not feel super smart to do this alone.

Not v5, this is harder than wills, chips, planet. felt about the same as heatwole or blue lambo to me, maybe even a bit harder. the right hand crimp apparently has broken and there also used to be a very good left hand to get you a bit closer to the long rail feature. It is absolutely amazing though, can't believe it isn't done more often, especially considering how close to the road it is. Dec 14, 2017
Yeah, this one is full value. Dec 14, 2017
