The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The climb ascends a small buttress between the two main Cathouse formations. Either climb a crack up the right center of the buttress or start six feet right on the right edge of the buttress and climb a crack that runs up onto the arête. When the crack ends, climb up and left on the face (PG13) to the top.
