(2) the mission of MP is to "go beyond the guidebook" (i.e. enter information you can't find in a guidebook or anywhere else).

Hmmm, something you can't find in the guidebook? You mean, like... a video clip? Nov 14, 2012
The comments section is a great place to post additional information not included in the original route listing. Nov 13, 2012

Sheesh.

Will didn't "flat out attack" the author of this page. What he did do was point out the relevant and well taken point that this page is more or less a useless entry to the MP database. When you enter a route, you NEED to enter information on how to find the climb....and adding a few words about the route sure makes for a better route description than "climb up". Moreover, entering a route or area without posting even the minimum details needed to find the climb is doubly annoying and lazy because it prevents someone who does want to do a good job from entering the route themselves.

And telling someone to "get a guidebook" because people just copy from the guidebook anyway is not a good argument because: (1) copying from the guidebook is plagiarism (and super lame); and (2) the mission of MP is to "go beyond the guidebook" (i.e. enter information you can't find in a guidebook or anywhere else). Get a guide book. Re-posting guidebook info on this site is what most people do anyway. There are alternative approaches to asking someone who added a new route to add some helpful beta. You flat out attacked him. Nov 12, 2012

"Juancho", I posted the comment because the entry is incomplete and has little to no useful information. If you are going to enter routes/problems, it is incumbent on you to provide the best information possible. Otherwise the database is subpar. This entry would do nothing to help you locate this problem.

When I enter new routes/problems, I attempt to provide the best information possible. I expect others to do the same in the spirit of building the best database possible. Oct 22, 2012

Did you post this just to put up yet another video of yourself? How about some location beta and other pertinent details? This entry is basically useless if you don't already know where to find the problem. Oct 15, 2012
