I don't mind people posting entries when they don't have all the information (in fact, it's one of the best ways to get info about a problem), but ones like that just add to confusion. There is literally no way I could use this entry to find this boulder or problem.

Also, if you google 'san ysidro bouldering' (don't even have to specify Santa Barbara) this page comes up in the first few hits: americanrivierabouldering.b…

Alaxender, I would point you to Andy's excellent example. From the Rattlesnake Canyon Crag page:

"I'm not the first person to try developing this area. I've found old anchors, rusty bolts, and sundry evidence of past climbing shenanigans."

In the Santa Barbara area, you should assume that any particular piece of rock has already been climbed. Dec 29, 2012

Ill add a photo and better description of this problem as soon as I have time. Sorry for the vagueness! I have to use a buddy's laptop and only get online every so often. Thanks for being cool. Dec 17, 2012

I think most of the necessary corrections have been made. I would like to say...if a route is not listed in any guide or anywhere else for that matter, please dont get upset when credit is not given appropriately. How could it be?
Thanks to everyone for their interest. Dec 17, 2012

Alex,
Shore and Patterson have both been huge in the SB community. Your comments on bolting and ethics are not valid and what you are trying to prove with those comments I don't know.

Keep putting up routes/finding old routes/problems and just do some research and make sure you give credit where it is due, this type of work is greatly appreciated. Nov 15, 2012

Alexander,
You reap what you sow.

I would refer you to your comments on the Wasp, at Sespe Gorge, not to mention Foothill Crag. Nov 3, 2012

Sorry Andy. I honestly never even noticed the bouldering area of the site.
But it's sad to hear you be so negative Mr. Shore. Have you gone out and done a single thing for which I have posted a good description? Yet you try to shoot me down with some lame insult, sent from your armchair.
Thanks to Mr. Patterson for being cool. If you'd like me to reorganize the section let me know otherwise Ill wait for it to be done.

Yeah, the bouldering problems all need to be moved. In all honesty, I didn't have time to move them at the time of their arrival. That, and it seemed a little funny to make a SY bouldering area page. But what the heck, if a chap is psyched, then good on him.

I'll get it done nonetheless. Oct 20, 2012
