DescriptionFrom Dog Daze the arete and face around the corner are tantalizing. Doug Daze fulfills the fantasy of climbing this natural line, ascending the low-angle face of this mini-pinnacle. Unfortunately the route is too short, too mild, and too inconsistent. It would have been better left a fantasy.
Despite the guidebook rating of 5.10, both Dog Daze and Chihuahua Power felt harder. I personally would rate this route 5.8.
LocationThis route is on the southwest side of Lost Hawk Pinnacle. It is around the arete from Dog Daze. Since the first bolt is high it might not be immediately visible.
