Description

Essentially a variation to the seldom climbed Wengerbanger, this route traverses right at a horizontal break at two thirds height to access a rapidly widening fingers corner. The traverse is likely the crux and the climbing only eases the higher you go.  If you hand traverse, it's probably mid 11 while foot traversing will knock the grade down a notch. The climbing is excellent from bottom to top and should not be missed!

Location

Starts up Wengerbanger. (right of U3)

Protection

Gear to 2.5".

aka, Tepherbanger - awesome send! Oct 12, 2012
Great job guys. The fire across the river that day (my birthday!!) was so crazy. Two dollar beers at the Mexican restaurant made the day even better! Oct 29, 2012

There is now an anchor for this route that can also be used for Wengerbanger. May 19, 2014

Great route, combines the best part of Wengerbanger with some great jamming in the right crack, certainly as good as any of the 11- routes in the guidebook. Jul 13, 2016
