The approach described over Crane Mountain is entirely on state land. However tempting, do not use the easier approaches from the east or west. Details

Description

First pitch starts in a dirty grass-filled crack and leads to a slab section. Second pitch leaves the top of the slab and around the overhang via a right-facing corner.

Rappel using a 60m rope to trees along left side of wall. Down climb to the base.

Location

Look for grassy filled crack near the Great Dihedral area.

Protection

#2 C4,green C3, typical Adirondack rack.
