Slightly overhung with giant cobbles to pull on. One of the juggiest 5.9's in maple.

Second route on the leftmost wall as you enter Lou's Tavern.

7 bolts plus chains

At the time of this writing, this route still needed a lot of cleaning. It doesn't look like there's much matrix to hold in the cobbles, and I pulled a bunch of stuff off as I climbed. Wear a helmet and belay uphill! If it ever cleans up it will be an area classic though. Aug 23, 2012

I think this one will be a great route once it cleans up a bit. There are some big jugs and fun moves to be had. That being said, I had several hand and footholds move or fall out while I was climbing, so the added head games of not fully trusting some of the holds made this route seem a little stiff for a .9. There is also a birds nest a few feet above the first bolt, which might be an indication that this route hasn't seen a lot of traffic. May 19, 2014

It looked chossier than it climbed. I didn't notice anything sizable that was loose. Although it all LOOKS like it should pull right out, it all stayed in place. Bottom section is a bit sandy but it cleans up as you climb higher. Fun climb! Jul 5, 2016
