Description

Fun jug-hauling up a steep section of Relief Camp. Start on a ramp and traverse right to gain the route. Pull through a series of overhanging moves on good holds, clipping an extended bolt with a chain on it, before reaching the anchor.

Location

Starts on the obvious right-trending ramp just up and right from where the trail comes in. Stay straight to avoid the 10b which forks to the left about half-way up.

Protection

6 bolts, chain anchor. 6th bolt has a long chain extension.

[Hide Comment] Was out there on 06/04/2017. Big foothold near the start blew out, another one of the 'spikes' at start is loose, and a handhold near the start came out. It feels roughly the same grade to start but would definitely stick clip the first bolt in case more rock comes off.

Also, there's a smallish alcove halfway up the route with a loose block as well (someone chalked an 'X' into it) Jun 20, 2017

[Hide Comment] The top crux section is incredibly fun! Love the kneebar finish below the chains. Jul 6, 2020

[Hide Comment] I think the natural start is to the right. It's a little harder but more straightforward and less ankle breaking / swing potential if you stick clip the first.
There are a LOT of bolts on this route and many are quite rusted. Aug 4, 2021

[Hide Comment] This was rebolted with glue ins (not by me) in summer 2022, unfortunately, Bolt 4 is a carabiner breaker, thread a sling through it or skip it. Sep 26, 2022
