Description

Begin six feet left of Tiger Snake at the widest portion of the ledge at the base of the cliff. Climb up frothy rock on sharp and steep holds past five bolts to an anchor. The route could be continued upward, but we were focusing on creating climbing opportunities that could be done in the rainy season.

Named for the numerous butterflies we saw at the cliff as well as a great eatery in Pioneertown, California.

Location

Begin six feet left of Tiger Snake at the widest portion of the ledge at the base of the cliff.

Protection

Five bolts protect the route. Rappel or lower from a two bolt anchor.
