Description

A fun arete. The crack to the left goes at around 5.8 with fiddly pro.

Location

On the arete, just left of the chimney/gully separating Rhinozone into two walls (Rhinozone and Brynozone). Rap off of chains.

Protection

7 bolts and a 2-bolt anchor. A green camalot can be used in the horizontal crack between the 6th and 7th bolts. Extended Conversion, 5.10b, above requires 4 more draws.

Alternate (unprotected) start on the offwidth crack climber's right of the arete is a lot of fun. Finger crack to the left on the upper portion of the route is dirty and not sustained. Note that there are no clips on the anchor. Apr 11, 2015
