Description

A fun climb with cool moves to surmount a prominent roof.

Easy moves to reach the roof and after the roof to the anchors.

The 5.9- move is at the crux pulling the roof. All the right holds are there if you look around carefully.

Location

One of two bolted climbs above the large dead tree laying on the ground before you enter the actual El Diablo area.

Heck is the one on the right that goes over the roof.

Protection

5 bolts to a chain anchor, all in good shape at the time of posting. It is also possible to walk around crag to the left of the climb in order to set a top rope.

[Hide Comment] Great route Woogie! I've enjoyed it quite a bit. Nice, solid hardware as well. It is really nice to have some easier routes in the area to play around on. Jul 25, 2012

[Hide Comment] Overall, not as good as the climb to its left (Old Feller), but the move to pull the roof is quite a bit of fun! Sep 14, 2020
