Start with the first two clips of Prowler and move left after the second bolt. The crux is getting past the 4th bolt. Watch your dog, however. Dogging the crux will make it seem easier, but keep the sequence and it may seem tricky for the grade. The route was actually named after the dog from the house just downstream that got picked off by the big cat in the spring of 2012.

This is the middle of three routes.

Half a dozen draws and something for the double bolt rap at the top. The last clip was placed to guide the rope around a snag on the ledge above, so it is best to clip it.

By popular demand, this route now has an independent lower anchor. See Mill Creek Block page for details. May 28, 2016

The climbing on this is unreal. It is pretty rare in CO to have features like this that are really solid. Funky anchor set up, but, man, the climbing is cool. Sep 28, 2015

Fantastic pitch. Overhung 5.10 start into a fun boulder problem crux separated by a nice rest. Bolted perfectly. Jun 30, 2014

Agreed, well bolted and a thought provoking crux. Oct 28, 2013

Personally, I thought that the crux sequence was super cool and a bit cryptic to solve. Once you have it, the route feels like 5.11. Jul 18, 2012
