Start all the way left on the quartz underclings eliminating the lower block and work up the left pinches with some techy foot work. Finish Leap Frog. This makes the entrance moves much harder. fun!

same start as leap frog. start on lowest undercling in roof to make for even more good times .

i've been trying what i thought was leap frog variation. Basically i'd start at the bottom with the block off and go straight into leap frog. Does anyone know if that's a route? It felt pretty hard. May 9, 2013

There are a couple variations now, but the direct start without the ledge underneath was generally considered to be V9ish. Matt's variation(s) start more to the left. May 9, 2013

Zach I believe that is the proper v9 variaton. Matts variation skips the hardest part of the climb by not climbing thru through the crack and uses a lot of the traverse Aug 18, 2013

The problem that goes directly into Leap Frog without using the block is called "Keep It Hid". The general consensus is supposed to be around V9 for Keep It Hid. Matt's variation that goes left up the leftward facing pinches is also around this grade, in my opinion, this variation going left is harder than going right and directly up the crack, but maybe that's just me...
