[Hide Comment] New leaders: do this climb. As James (above) said, if you have a #4 Camalot it could prove useful, but I certainly managed fine without the one I left in my pack a ways down the crag.

[Hide Comment] Indeed, a good climb with abundant opportunities for protection and one thrilling move about a quarter of the way up. I'm not sure what the classic top-out is to this climb. We guessed that it was probably at the top of the crack. When my partner led it, he decided to move left onto the right- facing corner where the crack system widens and the rock gets loose. From there he kept climbing, taking the line left. He built his anchor out of gear after climbing an easy boulder that comes after the initial top-out of the corner. If this is a variation, it's a good one, as the climbing is nice and extends the route a bit. Jul 21, 2018
