Description

Start at the arete that forms the right margin of an obtuse left-facing dihedral. Climb past approx. 6 bolts to a two bolt anchor. A good warmup for the harder routes to the right.

Location

Bolted line on the arete just left of Pseudo Hardmen.

Protection

6 bolts (or so). Optional small cam can be placed between bolt 1 and 2.

This is a great route to break into the 10s with. If you get stuck, both cruxes can be bypassed with french freeing on your draws. It also climbs really well. Jul 29, 2017

Great sport route, bolts are beefy and in great positions. Stays dry when the wall seeps. Apr 1, 2018

Pretty nice! Looks bland and slimy, but it climbs great. The crux is getting clipped into the second bolt. It's just out of reach from the comfortable stance. The leader has to make some balancey moves to place the draw. Groundfall-ish if blown. (If you lead it on pre-hung draws, this hazard is removed because the hanging quick draw is in reach from the good stance.) May 4, 2018
