Climb the face and crack up over a small bulge then head up to the bolted anchor.

Location

To the right of Union Atlantic on the far left of the canyon.

[Hide Comment] Named Unknown 8 in Michelle Locatelli's guide and next to Unknown 9, with FA unknown. Michelle got the 8 and 9 reversed, the 8 in her guide is the 9 and vice versa. This is the name climbers in Caliente are using for this route. Jul 8, 2019

It's been a few years and I don't recall how they got renamed on here to Getting Warm and Getting Hard. If I understand you correctly, you're saying these are called Unknown 8 and Unknown 9, right? [Hide Comment] Hi Xavier, the routes are named Unknown 8 and Unknown 9 in Michelle's book because FA and original name are unknown. I'm suggesting names for the unknown routes; these are the names we are using in Caliente. For my two cents, better to have a name than a pile of routes named Unknown. Cheers Jul 9, 2019
