Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

Description

The obvious line in the middle of the face may look like a jam crack, but liebacking and stemming will serve you better. Above the horizontal fracture, finish the route via a thin crack in the slab.

Location

In the middle of the crag.

Protection

Gear to 3".

the picture is what got me up to this area, and it is a very nice 5.8 route. The 10's are ok here, but you really have to be into the adventure and done most else around the canyon to bother with the hike. May 28, 2014
