Description Suggest change

The crux is above the pentagonal-shaped rock where you start. Getting up on top of that is awkward, because the rock above it bulges out a little, pushing you off balance. I got over this bulgy area by mantling. It was not easy! I'm short (5 foot) - taller people may find it easier.

Once you're over the bulge, you'll be standing on a nice, wide ledge facing a sheared rock face with small crimps on it. I've been told there are decent holds higher up there, but I just pulled myself up high enough to tap the anchor carabiners and then lowered.

Location Suggest change

I found this route in Boston Rocks, 2nd ed, p 107. The only detail is given in a rough sketch, which is what I used to locate the route.

At the base of Snacktime Crag is a large pentagonal overlap of rock, about 5 ft high. Start climbing up the left side of this chunk of rock, and go straight up to top out.

Protection Suggest change

Top rope. Good trees are available about 10 feet back.
