Start far to the right of Taxman bellow the obvious crack. Climb up ten feet then traversing left to a hands crack which leads to a staircase and the base of the final offwidth sized crack.


Standard rack with multiples of threes and fours. You will need at least two BD three or fours to build an anchor to protect the follower. There are rap rings located at the top, fifteen feet climbers right of the top out.

Climbed this route in order to setup a top rope on tax man. I wasn't sure if you could drop down from the top of the route to the tax man anchors so I traversed left over the bulge right before the wide crack leading to the top. This makes for a fun and exposed move, although some of the rock around this bulge is a little crumbly so be careful what you pull on. This takes you right to the tree above the tax man anchors where you can setup a belay.

Note: this traverse is not necessary when we got up there we saw that you could easily down climb from the top of this route to get to the tax man anchors, either way it's still a cool variation. Nov 6, 2013
