Up ramp to right facing corner (tree), then take large crack in corner past the left side of the roof and to the fixed anchor.

At a boulder pile at the right end of the wall, below a large roof.

Start on the left face/arrete for an alternate start to this climb, which adds both length and fun. This is unprotected climbing for about 25 feet at around 5.7+/8 and then traverse/step into the crack upon gaining the normal starting ledge. Apr 29, 2013

The left face/arete is now the standard start on this route. In June 2016 Rob Upton and I added two bolts to the face. Actually we remembered to bring only one hanger, so the lower bolt has a hanger and the upper doesn't. Will take another hanger next time we go. Makes the route much better because you don't have to scramble up around the tree. Jul 17, 2016
