Active Sleeper

Colorado > Grand Junction… > Unaweep Canyon > Nine Mile Hill > Nine Mile Bould… > Dave Loves Donn… > Grandmaster Boulder

Description

Sit start with hands matched on large jug/hueco. From there, make a large move up to a side-pull sloper. Then set your feet and hit the sloping lip. The remaining top out works through crimps and bumps which access a positive rail high up the slab. Success depends upon hitting the first move just right.

The easiest way down is the same way this problem climbs up. It's an 8 foot drop-down, not bad with a few pads.

Location

Center of Grandmaster Boulder's north-face. The problem starts where a small fir sapling has taken root.

Protection

Pad or two and a spot, the landing is great though.
