Description Suggest change

Just before you come to the main cliff on Baker there is a narrow chimney that freezes over nicely in the winter. Start up a series of ledges then up into the narrow chimney. The crux is near the top on some ice pillars depending on how the ice is that year.

Location Suggest change

Baker Mountain in Saranac Lake, NY. Follow the trail to the cliffs and the head up a steep approach to the base of the chimney. Approach is around 20minutes.

Protection Suggest change

4-5 screws and depending how the ice forms you can place a cam part way up the chimney. There are several trees up top maybe 15-20ft back.
