This is also a popular top-rope but is somewhat harder than its brother (The Wall) next door.

For the most part, this info came from Lambert's and Shull's Selected Climbs in North Carolina.

Not one you want to onsight due to the fall factor. This route needs an 'X' rating for those wanting to lead it. The gear is very subtle past the two obvious horizontals but after a few top rope mock-leads, to decipher the gear, this route becomes very doable.

Otherwise a rather short, enjoyable, straight-forward top-rope. Some of the rock is still questionable so be careful. Oct 27, 2013

Wasp nest inside a hole that is a hold about 2/3 up the route. I brushed the nest with my finger when I grabbed the hold, but luckily they didn't come after me. Aug 30, 2017
