W Virginia > Seneca Rocks > N Peak - W Face

Description

P1: Follow a crack system up the center of the Euro Wall, pulling the roof above. Some parties belay here. P2: Climb to the top of the No Dally Ally flake. This route is a little spicy.

Location

Follow the West face approach trail past the South peak routes and follow a faint trail to the No Dally Alley flake. This route starts near a large boulder at the base of the cliff. The descent is also a little tricky. Expect this route to take several hours.

Protection

Standard Seneca rack.

[Hide Comment] Probably not the best route for a 5.9 leader. There is a decent size runout to the roof on the first pitch and a fall there would not end well. There is also a significant amount of loose rock on the second pitch, so pull gently. May 28, 2023
