Per [[107228211]: there is a peregrine falcon currently nesting on Independence Monument. It is being monitored closely.
The Park is asking and encouraging climbers to choose other routes in the Monument for climbing until we know the outcome of the nest. If anyone has questions, please reach out!

Description
This five-pitch route climbs a line left of Otto's Route. It climbs a wide crack at the base of the monument then gains the sprawling, obvious ledge. Above that, there are four shortish pitches which require beaks and thin gear in one of those rounded, Monument crack systems. There is a short ladder of bolts before the capstone.
