Climb the white-streaked black rock using occasionally good holds to a small roof. Undercling in the crack to reach a pair of "bucket" holds, kick a little bit and reach up to another flat hold in order to get fully past the roof. The fun isn't over. Climb up non-trivial rock past the bolt to a wide ledge. From here you can either trend left (5.10a), go straight up past two old bolts (no hangers; 5.10+), or step right and work your way up the blockier stuff (5.8). Finish the last moves on easy ground.

Right of Sceptre Of Might

Two old bolts, or gear anchors depending on your route.

Very fun route and haven't ran into anyone at balcony rock since I've started climbing there. Very fun little "hidden" crag with plenty of route variations Jul 24, 2014
good lead. gear at bottom is tricky but all there Nov 4, 2018

Added quick links and rap ring to ease rope drag when retrieving rope from ground. Gear up high is thin and tricky because two old bolts have been cut. Jan 28, 2019

Someone has already removed/taken quick-links and rap ring. Bad form Feb 3, 2019
