9 glorious Blue Mountains pitches with plenty of ironstone buckets, as one might imagine.

Location

Please consult book and/or guide... hike from second car park, rap down twice on 2 60m ropes, hike some more, climb up and walk out.. full, fun day.

Protection

Good bolts and belays on comfy ledges, no major runouts.

[Hide Comment] This climb is actually called "Bunny Bucket Butress" it has a local rating, mine, of and 18. This converts to a 5.8. I am now climbing in America, this is definatly not

[Hide Comment] Yeah, this climb is definitely a 5.8 (18). I remember us catching a train from Newie with our rickety rental bikes, getting lost on the way back and swarmed with flies, and then rushing to catch the last train by a few minutes. Great adventure. Dec 17, 2015

Climbed this route, Randy Rabbit Ridge and Hotel California. As a US based climber and comparing this route to its neighbors it should be 5.10a

From the top you can follow a loose trail back to the mirror ball raps for another climb. Two 60m are needed to rap from the rim to lunch ledge. Oct 3, 2025

[Hide Comment] The base of the route is kinda hard to distinguish. There is a small wooden sign with BBB hanging on a nearby tree. Scramble up a short steep slope at the sign then turn right to the bolts. Oct 3, 2025
