The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Climb up the mound to start, after which you will find your first real move to get up the to obvious right foot; then most make one traverse move to the left and then climb up the thin face.
