Jacks book says 75m but the climbing is only 35m. The snow/ice ramp in front may add more to it.

"P1": Climb the snow ice ramp to base of the cone.

P2: Climb the cone and vertical pillar to the top, and belay from the trees on the left.

Descent: rappel the route or trudge around to the bottom of the climb.

This pillar can be seen from Highway 110 just a couple miles from town on the west side (left) of the road. The pillar will go out of view for the final portion of the drive including the parking area/pullout. Park at the pullout on the west side of the road and hike/ski up the drainage or to the top of the cliff through the trees. 35-50 minutes depending on conditions. Lat 37.84 and Long -107.69.
