Description

Climb into the recess beneath the overhang, then head out to the left over the roof bulge, and up to the top. Getting over the roof bulge is the crux, and shorter climbers might have to campus a few moves. The holds just above the roof bulge are jugs. Sustained climbing to provide the pump. Route overhangs about 10 feet.

One of Mineral Wells' better climbs.

This route might actually be called GFIP by the FA party, based on 'Dreadlocks' comment in this section. However, the Mineral Wells climbing map lists it as 'Route 83 Unprepared' so the route name herein will remain as is to agree with that map. This route's difficulty rating listed here stands as is. This route tops out pretty much exactly at the '83' on the climbing map, which is a few feet left of the left extent of cave roof. Apr 22, 2018
