Description Suggest change

This route is great for people new to the sport. The waterfall is near vertical, but has enough slope that it provides a good learning environment. This is a single pitch climb of almost exactly 30 meters. At the base of the waterfall you will see a lower cascade of 4 meters that you will want to just free climb up to get to the base of the main waterfall. There is a very large area there to set up a good belay station.

Location Suggest change

Park near the statue of Yuri Gagarin. The waterfall is on the right side of the road. There aren't any marked trails, but you should be able to look towards the statue, and see a small valley coming out of the mountains to the right of the statue. Follow this valley up for about 20-30 minutes and you should arrive at the waterfall.

Protection Suggest change

You will need a bunch of screws, and abalokov threading equipment to descend. There is no way to walk down from the top. This is a great waterfall to set up a top rope for people new to the sport.
